About

My name is Sarah and I am 25 years old. I live in Sunnyvale, California with my boyfriend, Dave, and our pugs, Roy and Gwen. I work as a web developer/IT manager at a small company.I have one tattoo and a couple piercings. I used to have more piercings, but I took them out because of, well, employment reasons. I plan to expand the tattoos, but I need to come up with some good ideas and then some money to pay for them.
I like various kinds of music, from metal to classical, but my favourites are Hole, Nirvana, Melvins, Pedro the Lion, Modest Mouse, Neil Young, Alice in Chains, etc. Mostly 90’s stuff as I am having trouble adjusting to music today as I think it mostly sucks. I also play guitar and piano and I attempt to write songs and I do a decent job at times.
I like cars. I drive a 2003 VW Jetta TDI 5-speed, which is diesel, because I have a thing for diesel vehicles and they are rather fuel efficient. I also like late 60’s/early 70’s muscle cars like the Chevrolet Chevelle and Oldsmobile 442. I also have a soft spot for mid-late 80’s Chevrolet models such as the Celebrity and Caprice, and mid-late 80’s GMC trucks and Suburbans, particularly the diesel variety. I also am quite familiar with the models for almost every car manufacturer and can identify a car quite easily.
I like dogs a lot, therefore I have two. They are both pugs. Roy is fawn and was born on 3/13/04. Gwen is black and was born on 6/9/05. Pugs steal my heart. I like most breeds, though I am iffy about poodles and little yippy dogs. I’ve met more than 100 different breeds, which is pretty cool.
TV Shows I watch (regularly thanks to the DVR!): Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: CI, Crossing Jordan, Starved, The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, House and some others now and then.
I own 6 guitars, none of which are particularly expensive, but I like them nonetheless. I have a Squire Vista Venus, Squire Vista Musicmaster, Squire Jagmaster, Danelectro 56-U3, Aria Diamond and a nameless SG-style bass. My boyfriend also has a random selection of guitars, so we have something like 12 in our home (and we used to have even more).
Other things I like include video games, geocaching, computers, trivia, and some other random things…
